LETS FUCKING GO! Remember when Anthony Richardson first got drafted, and all of us Colt's fans got so giddy thinking of the duo of him and Johnathan Taylor together, making magic happen before our eyes each week? Then the bullshit began. Zoom calls were had, Irsay's were word-vomiting, agents were talking WAY too much, and we were stuck wondering what the fuck was going on and what the fuck was going to happen. Worry no more! Johnathan Taylor just agreed to a 3 year, $42 million contract extension, with $26.5 million guaranteed. We have our running back for the near future locked in, and what a guy to have with us.
That emotional roller coaster really sucked, huh? JT was known as being this calm, cool and collected professional the whole time and a stellar player. Then all of a sudden we were all clenched, thinking that the good times were over before they even got a proper start. But we're safe now, the un-clenching can commence. When JT talked to the media the other day, his professionalism and calm demeanor really showed. He knows he has a job to do, and he gives a shit about both the team and the city. It goes to show that speculating day after day and listening to hearsay can really fuck up the perception of a player when they're just trying to be taken care of.
So now its time to go full fucking force baby! JT is gonna be back to making Defenses look like kids walking on ice for the first time, slipping and sliding all over. Him and Anthony Richardson are going to be a force to be reckoned with, making everyone unsure of who's getting the ball and what they're gonna do with it. Shane Steichen is gonna draw up some beautiful shit with these guys, I'm sure he already had a vision board waiting in the garage, ready to go any given second. I'm fucking excited, and you should be too. We're gonna see tomorrow all unfold, as we all go tell everyone who will listen that the Colts are back and we're Super Bowl bound. Let the delusional optimism era begin!
