The NFL Now Runs Through The AFC North

The AFC North in its entirety is a fucking juggernaut. They just did a clean sweep over this past week of action, and truly only one game was a close one, being the Steelers vs Titans. Overall though, The AFC North owns the rest of the NFL and we all must acknowledge it. Each team currently has a spot in the playoffs and if that doesn't convince you I don't know what will. It's a sad day to be any other AFC Divisional team who isn't currently first place in their division. Worst part for these teams is I don't see three out of these four teams losing those spots this year.

First off let's start with the best team in the NFL right now: The Baltimore Ravens. Holy shit was I so so wrong. I've already written an apology letter to this team based on how unbelievably wrong I was. The Ravens are insanely good. I thought they were going to have tough matchups against the Lions and Seahawks. Instead, the Ravens absolutely skull-fucked both of them, mercilessly shoving points down their throats repeatedly until the torture was over after the final whistle. It was a big wake-up call, and the Ravens definitely made a statement. Lamar is on fire, looking like his 2019 MVP self and the defense is out for blood, making teams look like little kids on the field. Baltimore is here, and if you don't believe it, you'll see soon enough.

Next let's talk about the Bengals. Joe Cool is back and he's looking as good as ever. He's beating team with his arm, his legs, and his poise under pressure. Tee Higgins and Jamar are integral pieces to the Bengals machine, and show why they are one of the best receiving duos in the league week after week. Joe Mixon is coming into his own this season, being a reliable rusher and pass catcher to help keep the momentum on offense going. The defense is honestly playing above expectations, helping the offense get back on the field and do their thing. The Bengals have hit their stride, and will continue to be a problem for every team they play for the rest of the season. Joey B. wants his Lombardi.

Now we'll go over the Cleveland Browns. The Browns defense has made them exactly who they are right now. This past week they just bullied the Cardinals, not even allowing them to score a single point. The (alleged) predator had a decent game too, starting to catch some sort of rhythm in his passing game. No, the Cardinals never really did have any chance, but it was the fact that the Browns completely shut them out that speaks to their defensive dominance. If the offense catches up (which it is starting to), the Browns will be in really good position in January.

Finally, the team that is not going to keep up their winning ways: The Pittsburgh Steelers. I am honestly so surprised that the Steelers are 5-3 right now. Not because of the coach or the players, just because I've seen them play. The offense is some sad shit given who they have on their roster. I don't think Matt Canada has a clue how to scheme around players strengths. I'm 99% sure that he just googled "good football plays" and has been using those on the field, no other explanation makes any sense. The defense is solid, which seems to be the theme for the AFC North, but this offense is in much worse shape than most teams in the league. If Canada is still around, this team is going to start getting exposed. The ending will not be pretty.
