Shaquille Leonard Got Released And My Nostalgic Heart Hurts

I'm not going to say that I'm necessarily surprised by this move from the Colts, but it definitely sucks. Shaquille Leonard was released from Indy today after he became a shell of his former self from a really shitty back injury. He went from a three-time All-Pro starting 95% of defensive snaps to watching most of the games this year from the sidelines. It's a sad sight to see, especially if you're a Colts fan and have watched this amazing man save multiple games for us by living up to his nickname "The Maniac." It all started his rookie year when he came out of nowhere and put the league on notice by finishing first overall in total tackles. He won Defensive Rookie of the Year, due to his fantastic ability to just be everywhere on the field at once. Whether it was forcing fumbles, wrecking QBs, or intercepting passes, Shaq (then known as Darius) Leonard was there, torturing offenses all over the league. Well look who's a big bad boy now with huge balls. Mr. "stop asking that question" Brandon Staley really put his dick on the table yesterday, huh? Don't mind the fact that absolutely nobody will take him seriously given both his demeanor and his football team's absolutely embarrassing performance, this guy is capital "T" Tough! Seriously though, what did he think was going to happen after that game? Did he think the media was going to coddle him and tell him it's all going to be alright? TNF Talk Week 11: The Prime Curse Claims More Victims

Well, now I'm getting pretty tired of this shit. Everything was set up perfectly last night in regard to a good football game. Of course, that didn't even last until halftime. Mark Andrews injured his ankle getting tackled (and is now done for the season), Lamar got hurt but stayed in, and Joe Burrow tore a ligament in his wrist (and is also done for the season). Thursday Night Football takes no prisoners and we saw that in full effect last night. The worst part of it is that we actually had expectations for a quality game. What a bunch of dumbasses we are. Despite injuries, we still got a little bit to take away from this game. For the Ravens, we know kind of what we already: They are a good fucking football team. The offense was still scoring even without Lamar running around. The defense is still scary as hell. Justin Tucker will always be Justin Tucker.
